Colonel (Ret) Joseph Francis Bellochi 84 passed away suddenly on June 24, 2015. Joe was born and raised in Bronx, NY. He was career Army and was a decorated Korean and Vietnam Veteran. He received the Purple Heart and two Distinguished Flying Cross for his bravery during combat. He served on the Joint Chief of Staff at the Pentagon until his retirement in 1977. He and his loving wife, Lucy of 56 years raised three beautiful children who have blessed them with 4 grandchildren and 2 great grand children. Known as "Papa", he was a kind and loving man with a great sense of humor whose family meant everything to him. He was loved by all and will be missed by all. God Speed Papa.
He is survived by his wife Lucy, daughter Laura Anne Bellochi and her husband Guy W. Thompson, daughter Liz Berkner, son John Bellochi and his wife Jeanne. Grandchildren: Melissa Beauchemin and her husband Brandon , Madison Berkner, Joseph Bellochi and Allyson Bellochi. Great Grandchildren Oliver Francis Beauchemin and Claire Anne Beauchemin.

Interment will be held with Full Military Honors at Arlington Nation Cemetery, Arlington, VA.
