Jose Ramon "Joe", "Papa", "Boo", "Raymond", Miranda died unexpectedly in Orlando Florida on May 6, 2025 at the age of 75.

Jose is "Dad" to his daughter Kim Miranda and his son Joseph Miranda. Jose is "Papa" to his grandchildren Lucas Miranda, Isaiah Miranda and Xi Miranda.

Jose is survived his brothers, Julio, James and Anthony; his sisters, Wanda, Eva and Gloria, as well as his beloved in-laws, nephews, nieces and bonus children. He is preceded in heaven by his father Sigfredo Miranda, his mom Mercedes Miranda, grandmother Ana Laborde-Resto and his brother Radames "Randy" Miranda.

Jose Ramon Miranda was born on November 26, 1949, in Brooklyn New York to Sigfredo and Mercedes Miranda. Jose graduated from Long Island University with a degree in law. Jose married Conchetta Morin his sweetheart in 1971.

Jose was a Vietnam Veteran and served as an airborne paratrooper. Jose was a retired New York City Police as well as a New York State Trooper for 30 years. When Jose retired to Florida, he was a former radio host and producer at "Yo Soy Latino Radio". Jose was also an Associate producer at Hispanic Speak Out Television ".

A funeral is scheduled for Thursday May 15, 2025 at DeGusipe 9001 N. Orlando Avenue, Maitland Florida 32751. Jose will buried at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery Mims, Florida on Friday May 16, 2025.
