Jose C. Cruz 100 of St. Petersburg passed away peacefully with his loving family at his side on May 24, 2016 at the Dept. of Veterans Affairs Health Care Center. He was born in Caguas, Puerto Rico. Jose was an Army Veteran of WW II, Korea and Vietnam. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Maria; the devoted father of Carmen M. Cruz-Perez, Ramona Cruz, Iris DeCresie, Migdalia Roth, Jose A. Cruz and David Cruz; proud grandfather of 9, great grandfather of 8. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 11 A.M. until time of service at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
