Jonathan "Jaka" Echevarria died unexpectedly on September 7, 2025 in Palm Beach, Florida at the age of 39. Jonathan is survived by his wife Kathleen Cliver Echevarria, of Orlando, Florida. He is also survived by his parents Jose and Ana Echevarria, his sister Annette and Husband Robert Rivera, his nephews Noah and Wife Yashira Rivera and Abel Rivera. His Parents in law Mary and Michael Cliver, along with his brother in law Randy Cliver and Carl Cliver with his Wife Carol Sawyer.

Jonathan was born February 12, 1986 in Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from Tottenville High School in Staten Island, New York in 2004. He married Kathleen Cliver in 2024, after 7 years together meeting in 2017 during Wrestlemania weekend. He moved to Florida in 2018, where he worked at Universal Orlando and Publix. Jonathan was a professional wrestler from 2007-2025 in notable promotions as Beyond Wrestling, Evolve Wrestling, and Chikara throughout his career. His career highlights include teaming with Team Pazuzu (Chris Dickinson, Angel Ortiz, & Mike Santana) in the Northeast and later Catchpoint in Evolve (Drew Gulak and Tracy Williams). He tagged with best friend Sean Maluta at Boca Raton Championship Wrestling. He held multiple tag team championships throughout his tenure.
