Obituary

John Ray Stinchcomb "Plumber Ray" 59, returned to his heavenly home on October 2, 2016 at Vitas Hospice unit at Winter Garden; after a valiant battle with colon/rectal cancer.

Ray was born to the late Charles Edmond and Carrie Rosella Stinchcomb, in Annapolis, Maryland on September 23, 1957. He is survived by his older brother, Charles Edmond Stinchcomb Jr. of Sanford Fl. And Uncle John E. Bull of Mount Dora FL, Uncle James A. Stinchcomb of Maryland, many cousins and many many friends.

As a young man he was a missionary with the New Tribe Missions. One of the highlights of his life was going to places like Paraguay and helping those in need. After the mission field he became a plumber, as most of his friends know him as Plumber Ray, a most generous and caring man that touched many lives. He will be severely missed.

A memorial service will be held Saturday the 15th of October 2016 at 3:00 at Serenity Towers, 519 E. 1st Street, Sanford, FL
