John Andrew Rzepiennik, age 74, of Apopka, Florida, passed away July 31, 2021. John was born on September 11, 1946 in Baltimore City, Maryland, the loving son of John and Rose (Uhrin) Rzepiennik.
He was the devoted husband of Barbara (Balas); the caring father of Christopher (Alison) and Andrew (Heather); the proud grandfather of Clayton, Mary, Luke, Samuel and Margaret; and the beloved son-in-law of Terri Balas. He is also survived by many beloved family members and friends who are most dear to him. Cherished by his forever fur babies, Abigail, Alexandra, and Chesapeake Bay.
John graduated Baltimore City college in 1964 and immediately started his career working at Western Electric and AT&T as a Manager for the Northeast Division in charge of budgets and forecasts. He moved to Pennsylvania in 1982. John transferred with AT&T to Maitland, Florida and took an early retirement with AT&T at the age of 42.
In 1990 he met his beloved wife Barbara of 29 years. He continued his career as Senior Account Representative for international and domestic sales with Ikon Office Solutions successfully retiring again at the age of 62. John spent the rest of his life with his corvette, traveling, cruising, sailing and flying but also never gave up the opportunity to be surround by good friends, family, laughter, a good cigar and beer. John was very proud of his Polish heritage, loved the Baltimore Ravens and had a "need for speed".
A cremation has taken place per John's request. A Celebration of life ceremony will take place at a later date.
