In Loving Memory of John F Rogan (1932-2022)
Soldier, manager, dancer, runner, writer, father, friend, husband - John Rogan was all of these things and more. His love of life did not come to an end with his death. He passed away on August 26th at the age of 90 surrounded by loved ones. His friends and family will continue to remember him and honor his memory by being happy and living their best lives. "Love you more" was his motto.
John was a soldier in the Air Force first, then worked for Bell Labs and AT&T while going to college. He worked for AT&T until his retirement. The things he enjoyed most in life were running, writing his novel, dancing, spending time with his children and grandchildren, and traveling with his wife Eileen. His absolute favorite activities were anything he was doing with Eileen. They met later in life, he in his late 60s and Eileen in her early 70s. They quickly realized they were meant to be together and got married. John and Eileen had 21 years of good health and happiness. They were not only husband and wife but were also best friends, rarely away from each other. John had the most amazing gift in his ability to find happiness in almost anything he was doing. His jovial demeanor was contagious to everyone he met. He was a caring person who would do anything for a friend. He is survived by Eileen, his amazing wife of 21 years, his four children and their spouses, six step-children, and their spouses. He was the beloved grandfather to 26 grandchildren, along with great-grandchildren and many nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service is scheduled for 11 AM on September 15th, at Saint Augustine Catholic Church (375 North Sunset Drive, Casselberry, FL).
