John Ignatius Mullany 85 of Madeira Beach died Friday, February 8, 2019. Born in Manorhamilton, County Leitrim, Ireland he came to the United States in 1956 and resided in Tarrytown, New York for many years where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He served his country honorably in the United States Army and was Maintenance Superintendent for the New York City Transit before moving to Florida. John is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Ita F. Mullany; loving father of Susan M. Bastien of Raleigh, North Carolina and Anna M.(Jeffrey) of Largo, Florida Dunn; devoted grandfather of Kiernan and Jake Bastien. The family will receive friends at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church 11565 66th Ave., Seminole, Florida on /Friday, February 15 beginning at 10 AM with Funeral Mass to follow at 11 AM. Interment will be at Bay Pines National Cemetery Tuesday, February 19 at 10:30 A.M. .
