John Bartley Letcher, 46, of Saint Petersburg FL passed away on Monday, March 10, 2014.

John Bartley Letcher was born May 1st, 1967 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. A 10 pound baby boy gazed into the eyes of Anne and Tomm Letcher and his big brother Marc Letcher. They ventured down to Florida where John graduated from St. Petersburg High School and received his degree in criminology from St. Petersburg Junior College. He was a dedicated family member of the Saint Petersburg Police Department for 23 1/2 years. A devoted father of two girls, he enjoyed family, camping, fishing, scenic routes, rides on his motorcycle, yard sales, and basically anything free on the side of the road. He was a great man who left a lasting impression on each of the lives he touched.

Survived by his daughters Chelsea Lauren Letcher, Emily Charliene Letcher, grandson Jaidyn Anthony Letcher-De Leon, mother Anne Yeager, father Tomm Letcher, brother Marc Letcher, girlfriend Pollyanna Suefert and her children Christina Burns, Aaron Burns, and Nathan Burns.
A gathering will be held at funeral home from 9-11am Saturday March 15th, with a Memorial Mass at St. Paul�s Catholic Church 12 pm following.
