John (Jack) Kingsley Larson Sr., 88, of Brownsville, PA, passed away on November 11, 2023 at home with his loving family by his side.
John was born on March 31, 1935 in Nome, Alaska, the son of John E. and Amy (Marks) Larson.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Robie Murphy.
John is survived by his wife, Patricia J. (Lenkey) Larson, children, John K. Larson, Jr. and Brenda, Aimee Murphy, Tami K. Cline and Rodney, Robin Staszko and Frank, Marcie Thomas and John Harvey and Becky, grandchildren, Zachary Larson, Ani Shroyer, Jacob and Jared Cline, Jacqueline Gilbreaith, Jillian Polsinelli and Jaden, Delaney and Camden Harvey, and 3 great grandchildren. Also, his "girlfriend" Deni Holt and her entire family.
John served in the United States Marine Corp., during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion in West Brownsville, Veterans of Foreign Wars in Nome, Alaska, Young Men Club in California/ Bridgeport, and California Hill Gun Club.
Arrangements are under the direction of the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, Dolfi Chapel, 65 North Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD. Interment is private.
