HEDRICK, John Marshall 83, of St. Petersburg, passed away on April 6th 2015. John was born November 9, 1931 in Joelton, TN and moved to St. Petersburg when he was 12. He graduated from St. Petersburg High, Class of �50. He served 3 years in the Coast Guard,worked 3 years for the St. Petersburg Recreation Department, worked 31 years for Prudential Insurance Company. He coached the Redskins in the Junior Football League. He was an assistant coach for Lakewood High�s football team and served as President of the Athletic Boosters. He was a member of Life Underwriters Association and Lakewood Country Club. He enjoyed boating, fishing, golf, and diving for lobster in the Keys. He was captain of several pool teams and won the St. Petersburg Championship tournament several years. He survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ann; daughter, Connie Aldrich; son, Dr. Randy (Linda) Hedrick; three granddaughters, Jennifer Hedrick, Shelby (Don, Sr.) Luchsinger, and Gina Hedrick; one great-grandson, D.J. Luchsinger, Jr.; brother, Warren Hedrick and an additional family member Larry Levinson. Celebration of Life will be held at Connect 2 Christ Church at 9398 Oakhurst Road, Seminole on Saturday, April 18th, 2:00 PM Reverend Mary L. Haley officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that gifts be sent to Suncoast Hospice at Bayfront Medical Center.
