John Robert Frerichs, age 52, of Kissimmee, Florida passed away on October 11, 2021. John was born on May 2, 1969 at Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska.

John is survived by his parents, Bob and Peg Frerichs; his sister Stacy Lynne Frerichs, his niece Cheyenne Dakotah Dunn and his nephew Bryant Daniel Dunn and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

John was a loyal friend and a wonderful son, brother and uncle. He was very proud of the achievements made by his niece and nephew and admired the hard work they put forth to advance in life's pursuits.

John was an avid sports fan and a very, very loyal Nebraska Cornhusker fan; through the good times and the not so good times. John also loved the outdoors and fishing.

John was known for not holding back his opinion and for telling it like it is. You knew where you stood with him.

Despite his rough exterior he was a gentle soul, full of humor and kindness, and you could always count on him when needed. He was loyal to his friends and was a very good friend to his family.

His work life was primarily in the pool industry after he moved from Nebraska to Florida.

A Greeting of Family and Friends will be held between 12:00 Noon to 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9100 N. Orlando Ave., Maitland, Florida. A celebration service will begin at 1:00 PM. A reception will follow from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location to discuss good memories.
