John Alan Doyle, age 68, of Sanford, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, March 30, 2026 surrounded by his family.
He was born on August 6, 1957, in Columbia, South Carolina, to his late parents, John Kenneth Doyle and Gladys Orvaleen (Tate) Doyle. At a young age, John moved to Sanford, where he was raised and became a lifelong member of the community. He graduated from Seminole High School and went on to build a dedicated career in the welding and air gas industry, where he was known for his dependable welding supply deliveries and exceptional customer service.
John was a natural-born comedian who had a gift for making people laugh and feel instantly comfortable in his presence. His warm personality and easygoing nature left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had a deep love for reading and found great joy in the outdoors, especially fishing, golfing, and camping with family and friends. Above all else, John cherished the time he spent with his family, who were the center of his life.
He is survived by his two sons, John Nathan Doyle and his wife, Ashley, and Riley Patrick Doyle; the mother of his children and former wife, Jodi Doyle; his beloved granddaughter, Georgie "GiGi" Rae Doyle; and his brother, Jack Doyle; as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Kimmie Franklin; and his brother, Kenneth Michael Doyle.
John will be remembered as a selfless and generous man who would give you the shirt off his back without hesitation. His humor, kindness, and unwavering love for his family will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.
A Memorial Service celebrating John's life will be held on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 2:00 pm at DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory - Maitland Chapel, 9001 N. Orlando Ave, Maitland, FL 32751 with Pastor Tom Hensley officiating, with reception to follow afterwards.
The family will receive visitors preceding the celebration of life from on Sunday, April 19 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
