John Davison, 78, was born on February 4, 1938, and passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on June 8, 2016.

John was born in Long Beach, CA to Clifford and Marjorie Davison. He grew up in Southern California with his younger sister Jeanne. He attended Santa Ana High School and Santa Ana Junior College. He enlisted in the USAF and was given an Honorable Medical Discharge for a rare eye condition at Amarillo Air Force Base in TX.

John worked for Beckman Instruments in Fullerton, CA and later transferred to their branch in Glenrothes, Scotland. He married Anne Christine Lindgren from Anaheim, CA in Scotland where their first son Blair, was born. Returning to CA, their second son Brent was born in Fullerton, CA.
The family lived in Albuquerque, NM, Des Moines, IA, Altamonte Springs, FL in 1976 and to Sanford in 1986. John's career spanned 48 years in banking, operations, credit, accounting, collections, personnel and purchasing. He worked at Sun Bank, American Wood Products and Deep South Products. After retirement and with a strong interest in law enforcement, John became a Detention Deputy in the Seminole County Jail for eight years.

John is survived by his wife Anne, sons Blair (Robin) and Brent, sister Jeanne (Darell) Heaton, granddaughters Stephanie Gillingham , Kristine and Shannon Davison, great grandsons Patrick Langston and Nick Hudson, great granddaughter Brooke Gillingham, sister-in-law Karen (Clint) Bradford, brothers-in-law Duane and Brian (Myra) Lindgren and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
