John D. Chambliss was born in South Georgia on September 6, 1937. He graduated from Albany Georgia
High School and attended Statesboro Teachers College for 2 years. He went into the
Navy as a professional musician playing the trombone. He served honorably for four
years.
His profession was sales in which he always excelled. He was President of Thomas W.
Ruff & Co., the largest office furniture dealership in the southeast for 15 years.
He was a beloved husband, father, son, grandfather, and brother. His children and
grandchildren were the light of his life.
He is survived by his loving wife Donna, whom he absolutely adored for 621⁄2 years, his
son John Jr. and late daughter Kristi, son-in-law Eric, and grandsons Jake, John and
Max.
Rest in Peace with all our love. We will always miss you.
Services will be held Saturday March 18th at 2:00 p.m. at Tuscawilla Methodist Church,
3925 Red Bug Lake Road, Casselberry.
