John Robert Brooks, Sr., 68, of Uniontown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, in J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, WV.
John was born on December 9, 1957, the son of Hazel (Loretta) Brooks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Henry Brooks and James Brooks and sister, Virginia.
John is survived by his son, John Robert Brooks, Jr. of Clifton, Texas, granddaughter, Dezaray Brooks of Uniontown, PA, sisters, Louise Showman and Linda Hugney, and niece, Andrea that he called Pooh Bear.
Arrangements are private and under the direction of the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, 65 N. Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA 15401, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD. Interment is private.
