John J. Assenheimer's Obituary
John J. Assenheimer Sr. 84, of Altamonte Springs, FL, formerly of Delran, NJ. He was born on May 5th 1933 in Philadelphia PA.
He is survived by his wife Margaret M. McMullen Assenheimer; sons John J. Assenheimer Jr. and Eric C. Assenheimer; grandchildren; Kailyn J. Assenheimer and Elle R. Assenheimer; sister Doris Atkins and nieces Jacqueline Atkins and Coleen Ford.
John spent time in the National Guard as well as the United States Navy. He later worked for Philadelphia Electric Co. along with Hoeganaes Corp in Riverton, NJ. After retiring he moved to Florida to enjoy time with his family. He Loved his Philadelphia Sports Teams, especially the Eagles & Phillies.
The family will receive friends at DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory located at 9001 N. Orlando Ave in Maitland at 11am to 12 noon. Funeral Services following at 1:30pm at Highland Memory Gardens at 3329 E. Semoran Blvd Apopka, FL.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital PO Box Memphis, TN 38101-9929 would be greatly appreciated.
