Joelle "Joujou" Desgrottes Seide, 69 years young, who loved to sing and laugh has entered eternal rest on April 15, 2021. She was a resident of Casselberry, Florida. Joelle was born to the late Emmanuel Desgrottes and the late Yvana Salomon on May 15, 1951 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She was the mother of Petrovna Bain with her husband Jermaine Dave McDonald, Christelle Leora Seide, Darveen Ambroise Seide and step-mother to Andrij Carven Seide. She was also survived by her step-granddaughter Avery Seide. She raised all of her children with love and devotion from Haiti to the United States with her loving husband Ambroise Lucien Seide.
She was a caring nurse and Assistant Director of Nursing at University Hospital in Haiti for 15 years before working as a healthcare professional in Orlando, Florida as well with the Orange County Health Department until retirement.
She was the sister of Schiller Desgrottes, Yvanne Desgrottes Martelly, Pascal Desgrottes and the late Rose Andre Desgrottes Rene. Joelle was also survived by all of her nieces, nephews and godchildren who were like her own, as well as many family and friends.
