Joel V Choate, 62 of Orlando, Florida died unexpectedly on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Mr. Choate was born March 5, 1963, in Norfolk, Virginia to Ed and Eve Choate.

Mr. and Mrs. Choate moved their family to Winter Park. Joel was an arborist by trade and had his own business until his accident in 2005. Joel missed working in the business and the people in the industry. He worked for the City of Winter Park, City of Kissimmee and even Disney. He was one of the best at what he did, and Joel took great pride in his accomplishments. He will be missed dearly.

Joel is survived by his wife, Tiffany and his son Vance. Survivors also include his loving mother Eve and his brothers; Bill and Glenn; and his sister Bobbie.

Joel is preceded in death by his father, Ed.

A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
