With profound sadness and endless love, we announce the passing of Joanne, a devoted wife, extraordinary mother, cherished grandmother, and treasured friend. Born in Queens, New York, Joanne lived a life defined by love, kindness, and an unwavering dedication to her family. She had a gift for making everyone she met feel welcome, valued, and cared for, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her. Joanne is now reunited with her beloved mother, Phyllis, and her cherished grandparents, Poppy and Nana, whose love helped shape the incredible woman she became. Joanne’s journey began with a passion for dance, studying at the School of Performing Arts in Manhattan, New York. While she found joy in the arts, her greatest calling and life’s true purpose was being a mother. She poured her heart into raising her children, creating a home filled with unconditional love, encouragement, laughter, and strength. She later embraced the role of grandmother with the same boundless devotion, finding immeasurable joy in every moment spent with her family. To know Joanne was to know warmth, compassion, and generosity. She had an incredible ability to bring people together, offer comfort when it was needed most, and make others feel like family. Her strength, grace, and genuine spirit touched countless lives, and the impact she made on those around her will never be forgotten. She is survived by her loving husband, Tito; her children, Chris, Nick, and Brittany; and her beloved grandchildren, Olivia and Nicky. Though her presence will be deeply missed, the love, lessons, and memories she shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her. Her family will honor her legacy by carrying forward the compassion, strength, and joy she shared so freely with the world.
