Joan J. Meier of Casselberry, Florida passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. Joan was 87 years old. She was born in Buffalo, New York and moved to Central Florida in 1978

Joan was predeceased by her husband, Joseph, her parents Clarence and May Jacobs, her brothers William and Robert Jacobs and granddaughter, Mary Margaret Pfaff. She is survived by her five children, Carol (Joe) Pfaff, Joe (Shelley) Meier, Kurt (Katie) Meier, Mary (Dan) DeBonville, Kristen (Jose) Del Rosario and 11 grandchildren.

Joan enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She also had a love for playing bridge and golf.

The family would like to thank all of the caregivers from VITAS for the wonderful care and support that they provided.
