Joan Elizabeth Clark Zanowick passed away on May 23rd, 2022 after a sudden illness. Joan
was born on April 22, 1934 and recently celebrated her 88th birthday with family.

With a career as both a mom and a CPA, Joan set the example and instilled a strong work ethic
in all of her children. She was always proud of her work helping family, friends, and clients with
financial advice. When Joan was not at home, she and her husband Richard were often out
traveling the world, visiting locations all over the globe. Joan remained active and independent
in her retirement, spending time with her family, continuing with her many activities including her
book club and tax work, and caring for her beloved dog and constant companion Hemi.

Joan was predeceased by her husband Richard in 2014. She is survived by her daughters
Dyanne (Bryan) Blakley and Tracy Zanowick, her son Todd Zanowick, three grandchildren and
three great-grandchildren.

Her family grieves her loss, but they take comfort knowing that Joan and Richard are together
again. Friends are invited to join the family and share a remembrance at an informal Celebration
of Life Visitation at DeGusipe Funeral Home on Sunday June 12 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
