Jerry Steakley went home to be with the Lord on September 20, 2019 at the age of 78. He was born to Jim and Myrl Steakley, August 19, 1941, in Lyons, New York. Jerry is survived by his wife, Clydene, two daughters: Rachel Steakley, Casey Morse, four children by marriage: Chris Qualls, Eric Qualls, Tammy Shaffer and Lori Janeczek.

Jerry loved his grandchildren: Zander and Cooper Morse; also his grandchildren by marriage: Lydia, Madison, Grant, Rachel Qualls, Tyler and Nathan Shaffer, Brighton, Cortland, and Dufflin Janeczek. He is also survived by his sister, Jimi Johnson, her husband, Tim and their children: Joshua Johnson, Skadi Leder(Chris) and Seth Johnson.

A celebration of Jerry's life will be held Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Concord Street Church of Christ, 626 East Concord St. Orlando, Florida. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: West Port Rd. Church of Christ c/o Panama Missions Cup of Cold Water, 4500 West Port Rd. Louisville, KY 40207.

A private, family-only graveside service will follow the church service and reception.
