Jerry Cooper Graham, 76 of Winter Park, Florida passed away Monday, January 4, 2016. Mr. Graham was born May 13, 1939 in Foxworth, Mississippi to Lawrence and Jonnie Scarborough Graham. He graduated high school and entered into the United States Marine Corp. His first tour of duty was to Trinidad and Tobago where he met and married Carmen Navarro Graham and they had five children together but divorced after 22 years. He did a tour in Vietnam in 1966 to 67. He was in the USMC until he retired 23 years later. He was the recipient of the Purple Heart and other awards for his sharp shooting skills. Jerry had a knack for woodworking and building things with his hands.
He met Shari Bouchie in 1996 and they enjoyed dancing, traveling and music together for the next 20 years. He was a heart transplant recipient in 2001.
He is survived by five of his six children. AnneMarie Wagner (Michael Wagner), Sharon Caslow, Rusty Graham, Gregory Graham and Sean Graham. He is also survived by his brother George Graham. He had 9 grandchildren: Natasha, Seth, Brianna, Nicole, Austin, Zachary, Alysa, Kirsten and Savannah. He had 4 great-grandchildren: Tristen, Mackenzie, Braden and Devon. He two nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Jennifer Graham. He was also the grandfather to Shari Bouchie's grandchildren: Raiannon, Morgan and Michial.
