On Saturday, June 12, 2021, Jennifer Jo Salyer Bridgwater, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away at the age of 63.
Jennifer was born on February 25, 1958 in Huntington, WV to James and Anna Lee Salyer. She received her Bachelors degree from the University of Central Florida after starting her academic career at the University of West Virginia. On November 24, 1984, she married the love of her life, Neal Bridgwater, and together they lovingly raised their son and daughter, Sam and Whitney.
Jennifer had many talents and interests. She owned and operated Grapevine Catering company with her best friend for 10 years. Jennifer had a passion and talent for quilting, she and her girlfriends made and donated many quilts to charity. She was an avid music lover, especially Broadway musicals and anything with Paul McCartney. All year round, there was a sporting event (she loved them all) she watched, cheered and yelled for, especially the Seminoles and Mountaineers. She always found peace sitting on the beach with her toes in the sand. Of all of the things she loved, she loved her family most of all, her number one joy in life was being "Buella" to her four grandchildren.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, James and her mother, Anna Lee. She is survived by her husband, Neal, her son Sam Moore (Lacey), daughter Whitney Lorch (Stephen), brother James Salyer III (Debby), grandchildren Nathan Moore, Anna Marie Moore, Nolan Lorch and Chandler Lorch. As well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A Funeral Service and Celebration of Life will be held at the San Pedro Center on Dike Road, Winter Park, FL.
In lieu of flowers the family has requested a donation be made in her name to the cancer charity of your choice.
