Jen Doran, 41, of Winter Park, Florida passed away February 9th, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. She left behind a mother, Jo Doran, her dear Aunt Dee, a sister, Jamie Doran, a loving wife, Lisa Lovell, and countless family and friends.
Jen grew up in the Brandon area and was a graduate of Brandon Senior High School. Later, as a graduate of UCF, Jen was a passionate Knights fan and season ticket holder.
Jen was loved by all who were lucky enough to know her. She was happiest when surrounded by loved ones, whether family or friends. Her sense of humor, beautiful smile, and quick wit could lighten the mood in even the darkest of times.
Coach Jen was an Adaptive PE teacher, servicing schools throughout Orange County. Her kind heart and easy smile were gifts to the children she so selflessly worked with. Her dedication to special needs children extended far beyond her daily job. She was an active volunteer in the Florida Special Olympics Program, organizing events for many sports and coaching in the sailing program. Jen was also an avid pet lover and co-owner of Animal Companion Pet and Home. She gave the same love and attention to the animals in her life that she gave to the people in her life.
Jen gave us all many gifts in her time with us, which was far too brief. She would want us all to remember to be kind and to "Live your passion, be passionate about life". To all those who loved Jen, please remember she would want us all to smile and live our lives with joy. Look for her in the light of a child's eye, in sun sparkling on the water, and in the warm embrace of the people you love, for that is where she will be. Until we meet again….
