Born in Boynton Beach, FL, Jeffrey grew up in Boca Raton, FL, Richmond, VA, Princeton, NJ, and Longwood, FL. He attended Sabal Point Elementary and Lake Brantley High School excelling in writing, art, and computer technology. He participated in team sports such as soccer, football, and the wrestling team. The Episcopal Church of the Resurrection was his childhood church where he participated in many Christmas pageants and cherished many friendships.
After high school Jeffrey worked in the construction industry and owned his own tile installation and remodeling business. He excelled at carpentry design and repairs and was a handyman who could fix almost anything. With his optimistic outlook, he could be counted on as the dedicated worker who always arrived early and stayed until the job was completed.
Later he would use his artistic talents to personally design hundreds of custom artwork drawings for clients seeking his tattoo expertise. He truly enjoyed the artistry of tattoos but also valued the many friends he made while individualizing his designs.
Jeffrey loved fishing, camping, heavy metal music, playing the guitar, gathering with friends, and trips to the beach. He was an invincible dare devil who lived life to its fullest and who loved his family and friends with passion. Generous with everyone he met, Jeffrey could always bring a smile or good times to those surrounding him. People frequently sought his friendship, cherished his good company, and valued his wise advice. Children and animals were always drawn to his fun-loving, trusting nature.
Jeffrey is survived by his parents, Daryl and Peggy Spradley, his sisters Kristen Matteson and Janelle Spradley, and brother-in-law Matt Matteson, nine nieces and nephews, Uncle George Pink (Linda Pink), Aunt Debi Armstrong (Randy Armstrong), great aunts Marguerite Byrd and Betty Ann Jones, and six cousins.
We all will truly miss Jeffrey because he was the bigger than life person who broke some of the rules, never forgot to say "I love you" with a hug, and always carried everyone on his broad shoulders through both good and tough times with endless love and genuine humility.
