Jeanne K. Hand, of Winter Park, Florida passed away on April 14, 2022.

Jeanne grew up in Baltimore with her younger brothers, Ken and Norman. She graduated from the College of Notre Dame with a degree in sociology. Jeanne married Joseph Kuhn in 1945 and was widowed with two sons, David and Joe, three years later. In 1956, Jeanne married Peter Hand and moved to Winter Park when Peter transferred with the Martin Marietta Company to its Orlando office. They had two girls, Jeanne-Marie and Mary-Ellen.

Jeanne pursued many interests. She studied oil painting and created many beautiful pictures that hung in her home. Jeanne took up tennis in her early fifties and played three times a week for 35 years. She was a gourmet cook and enjoyed entertaining. In addition, Jeanne and Pete had a second home in Vero Beach, and hosted family and friends there for over fifty years.

Jeanne and Peter were married for almost 65 years. They have five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
