Jean Turner Spears, 96, passed away November 19, 2018. Born in Flint, Michigan, January 16, 1922, Jean moved to Orlando in 1925, where she lived the rest of her life. She was a member of the Orlando High School class of 1940.

Family was always important to Jean. She was preceded in death by her parents, five siblings, her first husband, and Shelby C. Spears, her husband for 32 happy years. Left to treasure her memory are her stepchildren, Glen Spears (Lisa) and Shelley Spears McMillan(George), their children Shelby (Chris), Sam (Layne), and Eleanor, to whom Jean was a special Nana. Jean was also thrilled to be a Great Grand Nana to Meg, Kate, and Cruise. In addition, Jean is survived by nieces Cindy Brannon, Deborah Howe, Patty Johnson, and nephew Steve Hamilton.

The family celebrated Jean's life at a private graveside service at Palm Cemetery in Winter Park.
