Jean H. Jacoby age 92, passed away December 28, 2017. She was born October 12, 1925 in Sanford, Florida, the daughter of the late Elsworth and Bessie Harper. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother E. C. Harper Jr. and one sister Lois Harper both of Sanford, Florida.
Jean grew up in Sanford, graduated Seminole High School in 1943 and went on to attend Stetson University in Deland where she graduated in 1947 with an elementary education degree.

Jean was a dedicated elementary school teacher in Seminole County for over 30 years and member of the First Baptist Church in Sanford. She enjoyed staying in touch with many of her high school classmates over the years and was very proud of her Sanford Heritage.
She is survived by her children Joan Elder and Greg Jacoby, 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Jean's family is planning a private ceremony to be held on a date yet to be decided.
