Jean Louise Benson's Obituary
Jean Louise Varn Benson, 84, departed this life on November 30, 2015.
She loved and is loved by her husband of 66 years, James P. Benson, Sr.; sons James P. Benson, Jr. [Ruth], and Thomas G. Benson; daughter-in-law, Jenan Jones Benson; grandchildren, Amanda, Andy, Matt and Rachel Benson, and Lindsey Simpson; and great-grandsons, Noah and Gabriel Benson, and Nash Tuggle.
Her parents, Evelyn and Julian Varn, son, David R. Benson, and grandson, James P. Benson III, predeceased Mrs. Benson.
During her youth, she served as a photographer's model and entertained at the USO with her accomplished dancing skills. Mrs. Benson was a graduate of Seminole High School in Sanford.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and community volunteer. Mrs. Benson was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Eastern Star. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and gardening.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
