It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jayantkumar Shankerlal Pandya on March 22, 2020, at the age of 77 years.
Jay was a native of Rajkot, India where he spent his childhood years. He received a degree in Civil Engineering from IIT Madras (now Chennai). He went on to get his MBA and move to the United States. He lived in Mt. Laurel, NJ for much of his life and then retired in Ormond Beach, Florida to be close to his children and grandchildren.
Throughout his career, he became involved (and later become an Expert in Project Management) in some of the world's largest civil engineering projects such as the Channel Tunnel between France and England and Boston's Big Dig. He was involved and was key to the start of the of Construction Litigation practice at Deloitte. He retired as a partner from Deloitte.
In his free time, Jay enjoyed watching all sports and enjoyed playing golf and tennis. Recently, his favorite sport to watch was his grandson's soccer games.
Jay is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Aruna, sons Mehul (Neha) and Nirav (Simoli), grandson Neil, and granddaughter Riana.
