Jasmine Gil Gerena, 30, of St. Petersburg, Florida peacefully fell asleep in death on August 26, 2014.

Jasmine was born in Bronx, NY on March 21, 1984. She met Ismael Gerena Jr when she was in the 8th grade and little did she know she would go on to marry her only true love. They married on June 10, 2002 and were married 12 years.

Jasmine is survived by her beautiful daughter Nigella Jolie Gerena; her husband Ismael Gerena Jr.; her mother Madeline Lopez; step father Raul Lopez; sister Louisa; brothers Luis Jr., Chris and countless other relatives and friends.

Jasmine recently owned and worked with her devoted husband at Smiley�s Deli. She loved cooking, (a real foodie) red lipstick, getting her nails done and Starbucks. Far more than just a beautiful face, she was a doting daughter, loving sister, supportive wife, but more than all else a loyal mother that loved the precious moments she spent with her daughter.

The family has requested a private funeral. The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers and support, too many to name individually. We thank you with all our hearts.
