Janis Adele Featherer Cooper 69, of St. Petersburg, went to be with her Lord Friday, March 16, 2018. Janis left her husband of 50 years, Paul Cooper; her sons, Craig and Eric; her two daughters-in-law, Krista and Amanda; and seven grandchildren. Next to her Savior , Janis' family meant everything to her, and she would claim that her family was her hobby. Raised in Southern New Jersey, Janis moved with her family to Saint Petersburg in 1985, where she fell in love with the local beaches, but always had a fondness for the Jersey Shore, particularly Ocean City, and Cape May. Janis made many countless memories with her husband, children, and grandchildren, and she will always be remembered when a picture of a lighthouse, the beach, or an angel is seen by her friends and family. The family would like to thank Suncoast Hospice-Empath Health for the loving care that was provided to her in her final days. Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life this Wednesday, 5 pm, at the Funeral Home.
