Janice Lee Gunther, 49, of Orlando, Florida, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2025, surrounded by family.

Janice was born on July 8, 1976, in Springfield, Ohio, to Karen Elliott and Alfred Greene. Once graduated, she went on to work as a Histologist for HCA Hospital Lab, where she was known for her dedication, integrity, and kindness.

She was a devoted mother, aunt, and friend who lived her life for God and enjoyed nature, animals, and spending time with her family.

She was survived by her two children, Michael Gregory Gunther Jr. and Austin Barry Gunther; her sister, Angel Dawn Rodman (Dr. Ahmad Amawi); three nieces, Melayna Rodman, Harper Rodman, and Ashley Elliott; and seven nephews, Shawn Rodman, Alton Gunther, Adam Gunther, Izzedean Amawi, Finn Rodman, Kyland Cobb, and Riley Cobb.

A memorial service will be held on December 22, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland and she will be laid to rest in Pineywood Cemetery in Winter Park, Florida.

Janice will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her and will join her mother, Karen Greene; brother, David Elliott; and sister, Melinda Lanum, in Heaven, while continuing to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind until they meet again.
