Janice Elaine Avery of Rochester, N.Y. went to be with the Lord on May 10, 2015. Gracefully passing in her sleep, surrounded and cared for by family, knowing she was loved and will be remembered by many.
Janice was Born in Rochester, N.Y. on May 23, 1936 to Edward August Bescher and Meredith Eunice Frost, being raised in Spencerport, N.Y. on Wittier Road. Graduating from West High School class of 1953. Graduating from Bryant and Stratton College in New York State.
Janice Avery was proud of her work accomplishments in life, including being a Executive Secretary for Frank Domino Construction, and Fischer Scientific in Rochester.
Besides family one of her greatest joys was raising German Shepherds and Appaloosa horses, Gardening and Canning on her Williamson Farm. Thru tragedy in her life, having a Brain Aneurism in the early 80's, one of her most proudest contribution arose, Becoming a Founding Director for the Rochester Foundation of Persons with Brain Injuries incorporated in 1989, which is still a viable thriving Foundation, Hickok Center for Brain Injury.
Janice was predeceased by her Parents, second husband John Arnold Judwick, third husband Lucien Donald Avery.
Janice is Survived by her Brother: William Bescher, Children: Michael Avery, James Avery, Sharon Judwick-Avery Roberts and Susan Avery- Cartwright. Her Children blessed Janice with 13 Grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Janice on June 20, 2015 in Geneva, Florida
