Ruta , Janet C. 82 of St. Petersburg, passed away March 30 2018 with her loving family at her side. She was a member of Blessed Trinity Catholic Church and Isla Del Sol Women's golf association. Janet also held weekly blood pressure clinic for residents of Westminster Palms. She is the loving mother of Walter Ruta Jr. and his wife Amy; Diane Liptak and her husband Paul, Patricia Scott and her husband Kevin; Ken Ruta and his wife Mary Kaye; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday April 4 from 5-7pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 5, at 9:30 am at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church 1600 54th Ave s., St. Petersburg. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Petersburg Free Clinic or to Daystar.
