Janet L. Reckard's Obituary
Janet L. (Brownfield) Reckard, 92, of Uniontown, PA passed away on Friday, November 17, 2023, in Lafayette Manor Nursing Home, Uniontown, PA.
Janet was born on June 18, 1931, the daughter of Lee D. and Effie Mae (Myers) Brownfield.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Reckard, brothers, Basil and James Brownfield, sisters, Clara Reinhard, Ann Wilson, Bea Mager, Kathryn Berndt and Dorothy Douglas.
Janet is survived by her daughter, Debbie Atkinson and Gino Yocabet of Uniontown, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family will be received in the DeGusipe Funeral Home and Crematory, Dolfi Chapel, 65 North Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, PA, Stacey A. Dolfi, FD on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at which time a service will be held in the funeral home with Pastor Bryan Kelley officiating. Interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, PA.
In memory of Janet, donations can be made to Fayette Friends of Animals, 223 Searight Herbert Road, Uniontown, PA 15401.
