It is with great love and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Janet Marie (Kiluk) Barrett, who left us on April 26th, 2025 following a long battle with cancer.

Janet was born on February 21st, 1956 in Wyandotte Michigan, the first of six children to Stanley and Virginia (Kosiarek) Kiluk.

She attended St. Elizabeth Grade School, Wilson Jr High and Theodore Roosevelt High School, all in Wyandotte as well.

Janet moved from Michigan to Florida in 1982 and was a long-time resident of the city of Casselberry.

Following her completion of a nursing degree, Janet served as a registered nurse, nursing supervisor and case manager at various Florida health centers where she took much pride in her work and helping others.

She is survived by her son Timothy (Nichole) Barrett and grandson Connor James Barrett; fiance Russell Frederick; her brothers Michael (Pamela), James and David Kiluk; her sisters Dianne (Kiluk) England and Susan (Kiluk) Erwin; and her cherished aunt Jean (Kiluk) Richardson. Janet also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
A celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
