Jim, age 73, of Apopka, passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by family on Monday April 18, 2016. Jim was born on December 21, 1942 in Alexandria, Virginia, to Council and Lillian Sutphin. He moved to Florida with his wife Judy in 1989.

Jim is remembered fondly for his love of boating, fishing, and camping with his family.

Jim is survived by his wife: Judy, his children: Jimmy, Leah, and Thomas, as well as four grandchildren: Fayth (16), Tyler (16), Malcolm (14), and Reese (10). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Mr. Sutphin to Vitas and/or the American Lung Association.
