James Earl Streeter of Orlando, Florida died peacefully on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 surrounded by his loving wife and daughters at AdventHealth Hospice Care in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Jim will be remembered as a loving husband, father, papa, brother, uncle and friend.
Jim was born August 2, 1950 in Key West, Florida to Richard and Grace (Lucas) Streeter. When Jim was young his father was in the Navy, however upon his retirement, they would settle in St. Cloud, Florida. It was there that he would meet and later marry Kathey (Douglas) Streeter. Shortly after, the pair moved to Orlando where they would begin raising their two daughters. Jim will also be remembered as a successful businessman as the owner of Streeter's Weld-Fab, which he owned and operated until his retirement.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Dickie, David and sister, Cathy.
Jim is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathey Douglas Streeter; daughters, Christy Ludwig (Kevin) of Windermere and Angela Fifer (Bryan) of Winter Garden; brothers, Tony Streeter (Cheryl) of Orlando, Johnny Streeter and sisters, Janette Engbrecht (Chip) of Dunellon, FL, Rose Streeter of Cocoa, FL, Violet Axtell of FL, Laura Streeter (Gary) of Apopka, FL and Rickie Jo Streeter of FL; grandchildren, Madison, Sydney, Grant and Carley Ludwig, and Cameron and Catherine Fifer.
