James Robert McKenzie Speirs (Robin) died peacefully on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Nursing facility, Oviedo, FL at the age of 79 years.

He is survived by wife, Ann E. McKenzie Speirs, Son; Steven Speirs, Motherwell, Scotland, UK and grandchildren Carrie and Ellis Speirs, daughter; Ellen Speirs Goodchild, Motherwell, Scotland, UK, and grandchildren; Thomas and Jacob Goodchild, Step-daughter; Paula A. Lewis, Casselberry, FL, and grandchildren, Hannah and Michael Lewis, sister; Elizabeth Campbell Smith, Motherwell, Scotland, UK, children; Ewing and Ross Campbell.

James Speirs was born February 5, 1945, in Motherwell, Scotland, UK, graduated from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, went on to be CEO of United Technologies, United Kingdom/Europe Divisions and CEO of Grote & Hartman, St. Albans, Hertfordshire, England.

The funeral will be held at United Methodist Church, 220 Horatio Avenue W, Maitland, FL 32751 (Tele: 407-644-5222), on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 11: OO am.
