Jim Prince of Fern Park, FL passed away August 1, 2020 at the age of 72. He was born February 13, 1948 in St. Louis, MO to Joseph and Hazel Prince.
Jim received a B.S. in political science from The University of South Florida. He worked in the restaurant industry and as an independent insurance agent. In retirement, he turned his passion for fishing into a local fishing guide business which he owned and operated for more than 20 years. Among his favorite clients were an Orlando Magic player and a Russian opera singer.
Jim enjoyed volunteering for Canine Companions for Independence as a puppy raiser, raising eight puppies for the organization.
Jim will be remembered for his big heart and sense of humor. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Ann Allocco Prince, brother Tom (Selby), sister Sara Johnson, nieces Michelle Olson (Patrick) and Anne Dubinski (Bart) nephews Joe Prince and David Johnson and his great nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
