Born in Macon, GA to Emmit Clyde & Jewel Virginia (Hunnicutt ) Middleton,
James was an auto interior and upholsterer for over 60 years. He retired in 2017. He resided in Winter Springs, FL since 1976. James loved country music, golfing, and bowling.

He is survived by his wife, Constance (Pray) Middleton, his children: Justin Ryan Middleton, Mark Thomas (spouse: Jennifer), Todd Thomas (spouse: Robyn), Tracey Nelson (spouse: Michael); five grandchildren: Justin, Jordan, Ian, Nathan and Lily; and five sisters: Helen, Vera, Ella, Ester and Betty.

Greeting of Family and Friends on Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm; Celebration of Life Service beginning at 4:00pm and a Reception to follow all at DeGusipe Funeral Home & Crematory, 9001 N. Orlando Ave., Maitland, FL 32751. Interment will be at a later date in Macon, Georgia.
