James Randolph "Randy" MacReynolds passed away peacefully on December 21, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer. He was 85 years old. Randy was born in Berwyn, Illinois on September 12, 1939, to William J. MacReynolds and Ruth MacReynolds Knapp. He graduated Augusta Military Academy in Virginia and attended St. Petersburg (FL) Junior College.

As a youth, Randy was a Boy Scout and attended many scouting events at Valley Forge Military Camp. Randy enlisted in the United States Naval Reserve serving actively on ships around the world, including Operation Deep Freeze in the mid 1960s and receiving the Antartica Service Medal.

Upon leaving the Navy, Randy began a career in Food Service Management with Davgar Restaurants which owned and operated numerous restaurants in Central Florida including Pebbles. Randy continued in the food service industry as the owner and operator of a sandwich shop on Edgewater Drive.

Randy married the love of his life, Linda, in 1993. They enjoyed many years of marriage, traveling and taking cruises, enjoying their dogs (Heidi, Pebbles, and Coco), being involved in their community and, in recent years, caring for Linda's son, Brian, until his passing in August of 2024.

After "retiring", Randy continued to work for several years as a Skycap at Orlando International Airport, where he enjoyed the hustle and bustle of the airport, as well as, interacting with both travelers and other airport employees.

Randy was preceded in death by his father, William J. MacReynolds, mother, Ruth Knapp, sister, Carolyn Raymond, nephew, Tyler Barnes, and stepson, Brian Murphy. He is survived by his wife Linda, sister Lynda (Asa), stepson Sean Murphy, nephews Douglas Raymond and David Raymond, and nieces Ruth Raymond, Elisabeth Dougherty, and Wendy Pyle.

A celebration of life will be held on January 25th at 10:30 am at DeGusipe Funeral Home, 9001 N. Orlando Ave, Maitland, FL 32751. Committal of remains will follow at Queen of Angels Catholic Cemetery, 1901 Queen of Angels Drive, Winter Park, FL 3292.
