James L. Horne

James Lewis Horne, 68, of Orlando, Florida, passed away on August 14, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 13, 1958, in San Francisco, California.

Jim is survived by his devoted wife of 40 years, Pamela; his children, Megan, Alison, and Ryan; and his grandchildren, Mya, Kailyn, and Leona.

Known to friends and family as “Jimmy” or “Jimbo,” he was the kind of person who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. To know him was to love him. He had a special love for dogs, especially Boxers, was a devoted NASCAR fan, a sports enthusiast, and loved taking a trip to New Smyrna Beach. He was a jack-of-all-trades who could fix just about anything. And if he couldn’t, he had a “guy” for everything.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
