James W. Gerard of Seminole, Fl sadly left us on 12/21/2023. Jimmy was born October 18, 1941 in Brooklyn, NY to Caterina (Kitty) Matteo Gerard and William A. Gerard. The family moved to Sarasota, Fl, where Jimmy went to high school and college and then signed with the Kansas City Athletics baseball team. In Sarasota Jimmy met his wife, Gael, and later became the father of three daughters. Jimmy worked for Bristol Meyers and retired as a District Manager with them. Jimmy was an avid golfer and was known by all for his sharp wit and ability to make everyone smile. Jimmy is survived by the mother of his children, Gael, daughters Jennifer, Jessica (Nick), Joanna and his two granddaughters Layla and Gael. A funeral mass will be held on 1/6/24 at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church in Seminole, Fl at 11:00 AM. A celebration of life will be held following services at the Fairfield Inn, 3070 Gulf To Bay Blvd, Clearwater, Florida.
