James Edward Bontemps, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 27, at the age of 73. Jim was a loving father, grandfather, brother, partner and friend. He served in the Air Force as an Air Police for seven years. His career spanned over 45 years and included Executive level positions at Johnson & Johnson, Max Factor and the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising where he retired from in 2012. He was a very spiritual man who loved the Lord and always enjoyed sharing his testimony as a way to encourage others. He was a faithful member of Pastor Clint Brown's church, Judah Ministries (formerly Faith World) where he attended regularly for several years.

He is survived by his three children: Terry, Lisa and Michael; seven grandchildren: Tiffany, Tiera, Terry, Brianna, Liberty, Victor and Vanessa; three great grandchildren: Uriah, Ezekiel, and Avianna; the mother of his children, Oneida; his sister, Eleanor; his brother, Leon; his precious dog, Molly; and his partner of 34 years, Mark Doorn.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 1, at 1:00 p.m. at DeGusipe Funeral Home in Ocoee, FL.
