Jacqueline R. Buttice passed away this week after 86 beautiful years. Jackie is preceded in death by her daughter, Jacqueline Ballentine, her son, Joseph Buttice, and her grandson, Matthew Purdy. She is survived by her husband of nearly 65 years, Louis Buttice Jr., and her children Mary Therese Purdy (Michael Eells), Louis Buttice III (Pattie), Bernadette Carroll (Richard), Robert Buttice (Christine), Angelique Sayeed (Moz), Gabrielle Buttice (Chrissy), Elizabeth Cannon (Teddy), son-in-law, Robert Ballentine, and daughter-in-law Shannon Buttice. Cherished grandmother of 25 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She is additionally survived by her siblings Ferdinand Jose (late Phyllis), David Jose (late Marilyn), Evelyn Plasmier (Wayne), Alan Jose (late Betty), and many nieces and nephews.

Jackie was an exceptional wife and mother. Despite her large family, she always made time for everyone. Jackie cared deeply for her family and friends. She did this not out of obligation but because of her kind and loving heart. All her children were proud to call her mom. One of Jackie's passions was sewing. She made each of her grandchildren baby blankets, created and altered clothing, and made masks during the Covid-19 pandemic. She was a very active member of the Joan of Arc Circle at Annunciation. She also enjoyed singing in her free time. She was a part of as many choirs as she could sing in, including Annunciation Church choir, St.
Joseph's Church in Homewood, Illinois, and Messiah Choral Society of Orlando. While Jackie's family grieves her loss, they are choosing to remember Jackie in a way that honors her spirit. The funeral mass will take place on Saturday, July 24th, at 10:00 am at Church of the Annunciation 1020 Montgomery Rd, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
