Jacob Allen Surine died unexpectedly in his home on October 10, 2017 in Altamonte Springs, Florida at the age of 41.
Jacob is survived by his parents; his wife, Angela Surine (nee Peters); his children, Gabrielle Surine and Joshua Peters; his brother Jason Surine; and his grandmother, Caroline Surine. He is predeceased by his grandparents, Richard K Surine and Charles and Eleanor Carr.
Jacob was born in Johnson City, New York on April 19, 1976 to Dyke and Karen Surine. On June 21, 1997, he married Angela, an Aeronautical Engineer, and gained a son, Josh, now a manager at PDQ. On March 31, 1998, he welcomed his beautiful daughter, Gabrielle, a student at Stetson University.
Jacob was a devoted father and husband, skilled drummer, goofy jokester and an avid Star Wars fan. His love of all things Disney and Volvo was unparalleled. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
A funeral service is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on October 12th at the DeGusipe Funeral Home in Maitland, Florida. His father-in-law, Reverend William Peters, will officiate. Flowers, donations and condolences may be offered at 9001 N. Orlando Avenue, Maitland, FL 32751.
